Let The Music Take Control
Today is just one of those days to spend some time listening to music by myself. Famous Last Words, Blessthefall, and Get Scared have been on my playlist lately. It's nice to just sit down, put some headphones on, turn up the music, and just forget about everything for a while. Of course, it's hard to forget about that one person that's always on my mind. Funny how everything I listen to makes me think of him in some way. Anyway, all about Famous Last Words today. I can't get enough of them. Every song gives my chills. I love music that actually makes me feel something instead of just listening to it and being numb. Listening to the lyrics and wondering what caused them to write them, what was going on in their lives when they wrote the song. It's especially great when you can relate to the lyrics so you know what they were going through at the time and that someone "famous" has been through what you have. Most songs that stick out to me(especially lately) are love songs. Anything that basically explains how amazing one person can be to you. When you don't know how to put how you feel into words at the time and the song just says it all its pretty much perfect. Every band I listen to has at least one song I can relate to. Of course, everything makes me think of that one special person in my life, Tyler. He's the one that got me into most of the music I listen to now. First listening to it you kinda think "How can someone listen to this?" then you really get into the music and you start to understand the lyrics. Sometimes you have to get into the beat of the music before you can get the meaning of the lyrics. Going to concerts is seriously the greatest feeling. I know some people don't get it or just think its dumb and a waste of time and money but when your in the middle of a group of people singing the same lyrics you've cried to a million times before it just feels amazing. The beat of the drums making it seem like its controlling your heart beat. The way everyone keeps singing even when the band stops. Just how everyone that is there believes in the same thing you do and isn't going to judge you in any way. Concerts got so much better once I started going to them with Tyler. I don't even know how to really explain it but the way he keeps holding on to me even when I'm jumping and dancing and going crazy is just great. Having someone right next to you that knows everything about your life and why you love that band as much as you do, I don't know, there's just something really special about it. Being able to look at him and see that hes screaming lyrics right along with me is pretty awesome. I guess you could say music is a huge part of my life. I really don't think I'll ever stop going to shows. I hope Tyler keeps going to shows with me. I'd love to record him singing sometime and put it on YouTube or something. His voice is unbelievable. So amazing. He totally has the looks to be a lead vocalist in a band, too. Honestly, he has everything any band would be extremely lucky to work with.
