This band, man. They've come a long way from Gossip. They sound so much better with their new techy sound and they should be proud. I've had the pleasure to see them play live twice so far and they kill it every single time. Lots of energy and they keep the crowd on their feet. Believe it or not, they're getting a lot of hate for this album. In my opinion, Savages is their best yet.

I suck at blogging
I don't know what people want to read to be honest. My life isn't something very exciting that anyone would log on their computer every day to read what went on in my day. Recently, I've just been watching the show "Chuck". My boyfriend told me to watch it and now I'm kind of addicted to it. It's very strange...They're complete nerds but one of them is a spy somehow with a totally gorgeous girl acting as his girlfriend and I'm pretty sure he actually ends up with her later on in the show...It's interesting.

Finally, The Holidays Are Over
Haven't really posted anything in a while. Been busy with Christmas shopping and decorating. Hope everyone on the internet had a good Christmas and have plans for the New Years. I, personally, never have plans for New Years. Not really the party type of person. Being 18 I still get tons of stuff from my parents on Christmas so its nice to know I'll have some stuff to take with me whenever I move out. Haven't gotten anything from my boyfriend yet but that's okay, knowing him he'll make up for lost time.

A Change Of Pace
Really enjoying this weather lately. Not hot but not cold, either. All the leaves have changed colors and are starting to fall off the trees. I think that means it's almost winter. Bummer. I love fall. All the good concerts are in the fall. You'd think it'd be summer but that's really just big music festivals. Fall and winter have all the indoor concerts which, in my opinion, are the best. Really looking forward to Winter Jam this year. Fall Out Boy! I'm stoked to see them. Going with my boyfriend for my 18th birthday. Possibly the BEST birthday present ever. Concert tickets.

Lyric Obsessed
Lyrics. Oh boy. Funny how sometimes you just listen to one song and you, like, rethink your entire life. Or when you can dedicate a song to everyone you know. Lyrics are the soul to a song in my opinion. Couples have songs they use to express their feelings for each other, friends have songs they listen to together, individual people have songs they listen to for certain moods. It's really hard to pick a favorite band or song. Especially when you listen to so much. I don't think I really have a favorite band but I have some songs that stand out more than the rest of them to me. Mine and Tyler's songs are probably my favorites even if I don't listen to that specific band much. Sometimes I'll listen to a good song and think I can just write my own song cause they seem to do it so easily. It's not that easy. At all. I've tried writing songs and I honestly suck at it. I love music though. Even if I can't write any of it. Lately I've been considering recording and editing Tyler singing and maybe me singing along with him. Throw in some guitar and drums and edit in bass and you've got a song. I'd love to be a band manager doing that kind of stuff.

Let The Music Take Control
Today is just one of those days to spend some time listening to music by myself. Famous Last Words, Blessthefall, and Get Scared have been on my playlist lately. It's nice to just sit down, put some headphones on, turn up the music, and just forget about everything for a while. Of course, it's hard to forget about that one person that's always on my mind. Funny how everything I listen to makes me think of him in some way. Anyway, all about Famous Last Words today. I can't get enough of them. Every song gives my chills. I love music that actually makes me feel something instead of just listening to it and being numb. Listening to the lyrics and wondering what caused them to write them, what was going on in their lives when they wrote the song. It's especially great when you can relate to the lyrics so you know what they were going through at the time and that someone "famous" has been through what you have. Most songs that stick out to me(especially lately) are love songs. Anything that basically explains how amazing one person can be to you. When you don't know how to put how you feel into words at the time and the song just says it all its pretty much perfect. Every band I listen to has at least one song I can relate to. Of course, everything makes me think of that one special person in my life, Tyler. He's the one that got me into most of the music I listen to now. First listening to it you kinda think "How can someone listen to this?" then you really get into the music and you start to understand the lyrics. Sometimes you have to get into the beat of the music before you can get the meaning of the lyrics. Going to concerts is seriously the greatest feeling. I know some people don't get it or just think its dumb and a waste of time and money but when your in the middle of a group of people singing the same lyrics you've cried to a million times before it just feels amazing. The beat of the drums making it seem like its controlling your heart beat. The way everyone keeps singing even when the band stops. Just how everyone that is there believes in the same thing you do and isn't going to judge you in any way. Concerts got so much better once I started going to them with Tyler. I don't even know how to really explain it but the way he keeps holding on to me even when I'm jumping and dancing and going crazy is just great. Having someone right next to you that knows everything about your life and why you love that band as much as you do, I don't know, there's just something really special about it. Being able to look at him and see that hes screaming lyrics right along with me is pretty awesome. I guess you could say music is a huge part of my life. I really don't think I'll ever stop going to shows. I hope Tyler keeps going to shows with me. I'd love to record him singing sometime and put it on YouTube or something. His voice is unbelievable. So amazing. He totally has the looks to be a lead vocalist in a band, too. Honestly, he has everything any band would be extremely lucky to work with.
